Heuer Monaco chronograph CS2110 4849/5000 from 1998
€ 2.950,00
Ever since Heuer patented their first chronograph movement in 1882 Heuer has been one of the most recognisable brands in watchmaking. Their iconic square shaped case in the original release of the 1969 Monaco Heuer could often be found on the wrist of legendary actor Steve McQueen.
This beautiful Monaco Heuer is the 1998 rerelease of the original Monaco Heuer from 1969. There were 5000 made with the rerelease, this one being one of the last ones made: 4849/5000. This legendary watch has a 38mm square shaped stainless steel case in which the updated chronograph movement lies. The gorgeous black dial features a round minute track in white and has lume plots for hour markers. These lume plots have aged very well and have taken on a nice warm patina. The chronograph subdials are very different from each other, further creating an interesting and iconic design. This chronograph also has a date feature with white on black text fitting well at the 6 o’clock position. The condition of this watch is excellent with a tiny scratch on the crystal and a very solid, unpolished case. This watch comes as a full set with box and papers.
